Yes, Saffron grows in the Snowy Mountains. We grow, package and sell our own saffron. Our fairly dry autumns are perfect for wonderous bulb to develop its 3 stigas which are harvested by hand and dried slowly to encapsulate that hifhly valued colour and taste. These bulbs originally came from an organic grower in Tasmania. We have limited amount each year, so when its gone, you'll need to wait 12 months. Very popular in asian and India cuisine.
